Anyone up for a Righteous Kill?

The names Pacino and De Niro have been mentioned in the same breath more times than most of us would care to count. In fact, a co-worker once looked at me quizzically and said, "Aren't they the same person?" No, they decidedly are not, and despite all the associations, these esteemed actors have only shared something like ten minutes of actual screen time. Robert may have played Al's father in The Godfather Part II, but they were separated by time and space. And though Al (or Hot Al as I like to call him) may have spent about 3 hours trying to catch Robert in Heat, they only met face-to-face twice: for a sit-down at a restaurant, and during the chase at the end of the film.

At long last the two are pairing up for a film that actually allows them to work together! We may have to wait until Autumn to line up at the multiplex, but the trailer is here now:

Finally a movie to obsess about that won't make everyone I know roll over and play dead!
